Wordpress Content Specialist - Remote (CENNEXT)

Are you detail-oriented and confident working hands-on in WordPress? Do you enjoy crafting both short-form and long-form content that meets campaign goals and SEO standards? If your strengths include writing, content publishing, SEO hygiene, and cross-functional collaboration with designers and developers, this role is for you.

What You Will Do:

• Write, edit, and publish content (Pages/Posts) in WordPress based on approved briefs and style guidelines.
• Craft short-form ad banner copy (multiple variants for A/B), aligned to platform character limits and campaign goals, and coordinate layout with Designer team.
• Develop long-form assets (eBooks, guides, checklists) from briefs/outlines; structure chapters, write callouts/captions, and coordinate layout with the Designer team.
• Own copy handoff: provide copydocs with headings hierarchy, image captions, alt text, CTA links, and suggested UTMs; attach references when applicable.
• Publish in WordPress: formatting with Gutenberg, categories/tags, featured image, excerpt/slug; update Menus (Main/Footer/Sitemap HTML) when needed.
• Apply on-page SEO hygiene: clean headings, title/meta, alt text, internal links, OG/Twitter tags.
• Set categories/tags, featured image, excerpt/slug; update Menus (Main/Footer/Sitemap HTML) when needed.
• After publishing, run GSC URL Inspection / Request Indexing and update the log in Google Sheets.
• Work with Designers and Dev to request/insert visual assets and ensure layouts render correctly (Gutenberg/page builder).
• Maintain quality: spelling/grammar, link checks, and basic accessibility (alt text, contrast/tap target flags).
